About Us

G.N.P Sr . Sec School, Khant-Manpur, Distt- Fatehgarh Sahib , was started in 1976 by a great educationist Late . S. Joginder Singh , Dr. Bachan Lal and their associates in the campus of G.T.B Sr. Sec School Khant- Manpur. It was shifted to its own building in 2003.In the beginning, English was taught as a subject only and other subjects were taught in Punjabi. Firstly , NCERT syllabus was followed after that school got its affiliation upto secondary level from P.S.E.B in 1987-88.It was again upgraded upto +2 level in Science stream  (Medical and Non- Medical) and Commerce group. Now it is a senior Sec School Affiliated to P.S.E.B Mohali. In 1982, the initial years itself so many students got  admission in Dashmesh Defence Academy, Anandpur Sahib.

This school is one of the reputed schools of District- Fatehgarh Sahib . The main aim of this school is to provide quality and value based education at affordable rate to make all round development of students in all spheres.

The school is situated on the main highway from Chandigarh to Ludhiana. The school has all facilities with good infrastructure. It gives an attractive look to the people. All the rooms are big and airy. It has a library with sufficient number of books. Well maintained Science labs are there in the school . There are separate neat and clean toilets for boys , girls and staff members. Its proper drinking water with purifier system is the sign of hygienic atmosphere. The school has separate spacious building  with a big hall and playground for primary wing (Pre Nry to II class).

 The school has well equipped science, Computer, Maths labs and Smart Class rooms. The computer lab has sufficient number of computers. School strongly believes in saying, “All work and no game make life dull”. The school has many indoor and outdoor games. Games, Sports and Cultural activities are the integral part of our education system. The school has its own well established transportation. There are 12 main and 2 mini buses. Drivers and conductors are permanent employees of the school . G.N.P Sr. Sec School has a team of highly qualified and well- experienced teachers headed by a dynamic principal Mrs. Jaswant Kaur. At present its strength is about 1150. Under the able guidance of our well educated managing committee, the school is making giant strides towards the perfection.

 This is the only school which gives gratuity after retirement to its employees.

I am extremely happy to know that G.N.P Senior Secondary School, Khant Manpur is coming forward with its second issue of school magazine “DARPAN”. I am sure that it is combined efforts of the Principal, staff and the students. The magazine is the true reflection of the image and accomplishments of the school. An informative, attractive and innovative documents containing the highlights of the school apprises the stake holders of the institutional growth and development. It provides an opportunity to the faculty members and students to express their views, share their experiences and creative features. It is expected that the magazine will carry all these features.

Joginder Singh Panjkoha, our school team students & teachers under the guidance of Principal Jaswant Kaur G.N.P Sr. Sec School Khant-Manpur is coming out with second edition of magazine “DARPAN” We congratulate & appreciate the whole team for their appreciable work.On this occasion we give great tribute to Sant Baba Ajit Singh ji, Hansali for his great financial health to the school.

The school follows the principles of discipline, hardwork, honesty, sincerety and dedication nurtured by Late. S Joginder Singh Panjkoha (The founder of this institution).  Our all staff members keep a close watch on all the activities of the students.As a result our students are safe from all bad habits.Parents also co-operate the staff of the school for all these things. So in the end we all members of this school management congratulate students and staff members of this school again.

PSEB conducted the international Punjabi language Olympiad , a Punjabi language test. The purpose of the PSEB Punjabi language Olympiad is to advance the language and provide participants a competitive edge in the workplace .
